what was the process you used? There is so much conflicting info out there. And please keep us posted on how it goes. At this point due to my concerns about getting caught with my pants down I’m planning on taking my tendies and turning around and buying something like Tesla then transferring those shares when there is no time uncertainty to deal with.
I’m with you where having that kind of cash sitting with a company that will only allow me to withdraw 25K a week is concerned!
I had recently opened a brokerage account with fidelity and asked if transferring from cash app was possible. They agent helped me all along the way. I’ll keep an account of what’s happened.
I gave him numbers from my watermen from my cash app account restatement. They sent me a file to physically sign, uploaded it back to fidelity secure messaging and also a copy of my statement. They will send it to cash app for processing. Agent said 5-10 business day and it should be done. Told me to call if I haven’t seen anything by next week Tuesday.
Here’s a link from cash app that seem to indicate you can as long as they use ACATS:
Thank you for the intel!! If I’m being completely honest, you’re sporting bigger kiwis than I have.”5-10 days” would be more than my nerves could handle. Just nailing down the necessary specifics for the multi phase exit strategy that my wife and I finally agreed to is maxing my stress levels. Still, I’ll give them a call at Fidelity and see if they can’t ease my mind.
I’m in the process of transferring from Webull to fidelity, and it’s changed completion days on me two time now.. I started everything on the 12th, and now it’s expecting the completion date to be the 29th 😑. I’m currently on hold with Webull as I type this.
