Not an expert but I’m pretty sure they use the location you confirmed yourself as residing in for all purposes such as ownership, taxes, etc. So my Webull shares as well as my Chase and TDA should all be counted for determining votes.
One thing I’m curious about is if I’ll see three different proxies come in (one per brokerage) or if things will be leveled out on AMC’s side and come in with one combined total for my name/addreess.
I’m not 100% sure, but I think you might get one email per brokerage account. On the last shareholder vote I got 2 emails because I have some AMC I purchased through the CashApp and the rest I purchased through Fidelity.
I’m going to piggyback off this post, hope that’s okay. 😊
Does anyone know yet what the vote is actually going to be for? I know they’re going to do the share count along with the vote but what exactly are we voting on? I haven’t looked into it yet and was wondering if maybe some of you amazing apes had some info.
I’m also not sure if it is a rehash of the last vote or if the agenda will be different this time around. I’m sure the 500 million is still on the table this time around, but the rest I haven’t heard anything about but would like to know.
I’ve checked a few times but haven’t seen what’s going to be on the ballot yet. Typically there’s the election of officials at a minimum, but there could also be revisiting the additional shares to be sold (post squeeze timing), any merger options may be discussed, etc.
As mentioned already, most of us probably are just excited about the timing for getting a closer North American share holder count.
