“If you are not paying for the product, you are the product.”

I am just trying to gain perspective on something that my engineer brain is struggling with. I won’t try to deny that I have had my ups and downs with Lou. However, in my mind things just don’t add up.

My initial doubt (and my initial post here) about Lou came up during his video that suggested the short squeeze. That video had me doubting much. It was the first time he mentioned something could go wrong. It left me uneasy. What made me really uneasy were the comments on that video. For me, I was scared about what he said. Yet the comments were eerily very opposite of what I heard. The comments were… “You just calmed me down.” “We love you Lou.” “AMC to the moon!” Everyone is wary about bots negatively spreading FUD. Does anyone ever wonder about bots positively spreading FUD?

Today, Lou spread more FUD in my mind. He spoke about how the peaks are going to 1K, 5K & even up to 10K and beyond. This is great news for those with hundreds of shares. However, I remember in other videos he has explained how we are risking hodling for numbers beyond 10K.

In todays video, he also said the peaks would go up hundreds of dollars then down then back up hundreds of dollars again over and over across several months. He implied that this was a great multi buy/sell opportunity to make massive amounts of money.

It seems that in this video, he is signaling to retailers with hundreds of shares to hold for a number that will never come. At the same time, he is encouraging those with thousands of shares to sell high and rebuy low. He actually gives two sets of advice in todays videos that are in stark opposition to our cause.

It seems that he is playing both sides of the field.

Tell me if I am off on this. I openly accept different viewpoints. After all, I would love to sell for 100K.

No one can predict what will happen with this. I don’t get why in one video Lou tells us to hold to at least 5K for another week on one hand but then says sell for 800 and rebuy low several times over a few months.

He’s just one more voice and some of these latest videos are a mixed bag of signals for sure. I’m not just looking for yes-man confirmations but honestly appreciate some of the arguments made on why it may cap at X or Y. But when someone changes their message I start to question it.

I’m curious what his message will be when the real squeeze starts.

I am not looking for yes-no confirmations either. That is impossible. I would settle for a clear, consistent message. Lou does not provide this at this point.

I’ve been paying attention to Lou since he dropped his very first video. I have to admit, everything the guy has said about AMC stock has happened & you’ll only know that if you’re watching all of his videos. I believe he knows an insider but for obvious reasons he can’t say much. There’s instances that he thinks before he talks or a brief pause. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I feel that the realist Youtubers are: Review Dork, Lou vs Wall Street, Treys Trades, New York Angelo, Thomas James – Investing, Stimulate & Trade, Ape Andy, & Kenan Grace.

to me he seems a little out there, most of the stuff he says isnt based in reality, like at all

Agreeing with this..
At this point I have no F but I’ve definitely developed UD about Lou over the past few days..
If he’s a ‘plant’ – he’s been very well chosen! If he’s a lone wolf – he’s outrageously bold!! (160+ videos in 1 month… wow! – he says they’re not monetised.. who knows?)
Yeah, I really began to get alarm bells about him over the last few rants – stuff not adding up in my smooth brain..
Interesting to know some of y’all are feeling it too.
What can we do about it though? I feel like the only agency we have here individually and collectively is to just hold & hope – for ourselves and each other.

One thing that changed…if I followed him right…is he has a book deal going. I think he has been saying something about having to send his vids through someone now before posting them. That’s only been the last week or so I believe.

Maybe he’s getting pressure to change the message a little bit so they can be sure to spin the book as he “won” no matter the outcome.

Hope it’s not that as it’s pretty lame. I’d have a lot more respect for him if he’s been a plant this whole time and managed to infiltrate and influence as he did. Or if he’s been legit but just started getting worried as he’s been talking to more people. Giving in for a book deal is just lame.

But glittering prizes and endless compromises
Shatter the illusion of integrity

I watch Lou purely for the entertainment value. There are far better YouTubers out there if you want to get the real scoop.

Ive stopped watching all YouTubers at this point. I can’t afford anyore shares, ive seen the data, if its gonna squeeze.. its gonna fucking squeeze. Why do i need a youtubers opinion any more than what I have already?

Im sitting on all the shares I was able to muster.. Now I am sitting and waiting.

Too much noise lately.. too much noise.

Kinda with you here. I’m keeping an ear on a couple of them because I like the bits that can be pulled out regarding watching for near-peak trends and honestly I Trey’s just a trip. But I don’t need a cheerleader and I think we’re getting close to the momentum we need.

And you have no idea how the “too much noise” comment resonates. Well said.

So glad im not the only one that thinks this is a wrap, what’s gonna happen is gonna happen. This day to day drama shit is giving the media so much to work with. Apes are dividing themselves with the hunger for more knowledge that can lead to more greed.

Plis people just want to be the first one to deliver the kill shot data to these hedgefunds.🤦‍♂️

Agreed. I follow a select few. The OG’s. Most of the others are just bullshitters jumpin on the bandwagon trying to pump up new channels. All the do is read articles. Lol.

I agree with both of you. Too much noise and now they are getting annoying. Now I’m only watching bits and pieces just to pull useful information and make my own decisions.

I think he has planted his seed to his followers to sell at 5K-10K with the notion that the Gov will step in, which is a valid concern for all of us. He keeps saying he has other plays. Perhaps, he is here to disrupt this whole thing. Or he is really here to guide some people to make some money. The issue I am having is that he seems to know what he is talking about and a lot of people considered him their savior. I acknowledged he has some experience but trusting him..uhh ( Not really) just go with your gut feeling.

Today he’s back to his earlier energy of the 1k – 5k being light weight and seems more excited about 10k+ again.

He speaks his mind even when it’s changing. We’ll see how he stands as it plays out.

Two things he says a lot that need to be kept in mind…(1) make the decision that’s right for YOU and your life and (2) start thinking about your plans for after.

😆 funny how we can have some really smart youtubers do all kinds of deep DD and analysis and TA and find/explain corporate filings and other complex stuff but somehow can’t figure out how to turn that off 🤷‍♂️

Agreed, if your REALLY here for the community, turn off super chats. 1 or 2 of these “experts ” are making HUGE bank on super chats. Turn it off and let/tell those people to BUY stock with that money. Otherwise all their doing is paying the guys salary to watch a chart and tell jokes. These people need to get out and live life! I get it though, the youtubers are using/taking advantage of tech to make big bank and buy options….but I don’t like people being taken advantage of.

not sure if its a ploy or what have you but trey , when he was live streaming was doing exactly that. he Said please dont superchat him and to put that money into buying stock instead, and half the time he never reads the superchats anyways so people are just throwing money out the window.

I ‘think’ I like Lou (ha ha ha, take that for what it’s worth). I understand the nuance and the off-putting nature in which he comes across. I also don’t take just one single persons opinion as fact. I also know that no matter what youtuber, or guru you subscribe to, they’re being very careful with their words, and Lou uses a lot of vagueness in his videos; I get that. I don’t know what he could possibly be scamming, he ain’t selling anything (a book later, maybe?). Those of us that do watch him, had skin in AMC, probably before he ever posted his first video; I did. I’m going to ride it out, take it all with a grain of salt, understand that I won’t understand everything he says, but also know he might have some nuggets valuable to me that I can use from time to time. I also like Trey, but I ain’t no fanboy of anyone. I don’t know… he’s a sketchy guy for sure, but he isn’t holding my money either. If he does sell a book I’ll read it, entertain myself, then move on to another book, whatever either way

All good points. I have to agree with you.

I was a little late in watching the video this morning from @ReviewDork so I just now caught it. Just when I think I can’t agree with him more, he puts out a video like that.

Keeps things calm, makes a lot of sense, and call it like it is. I appreciate his transparency. I think he just became my favorite youtuber covering all this.

Lou is interesting. A mixed bag for sure. I appreciate having someone on his side of the spectrum and school of thought to help me make my own informed decisions. The echo chamber from the time before him kind of scared me more.

Personally, as far as his whole “bracketing” metric he proposed. Even though I agree his ramblings were more stream of consciousness, I think he was primarily looking out for the X and XX shareholders to temper their expectations. We’re all apes here but the smaller apes are numerous. Hell, I recruited a ton! I just think that could have been to make sure even the baby apes don’t get screwed — evidenced by him reassuring there will be plays after this one that they can build off from. I could be wrong, but that’s what my gut tells me.

Yes. He is abrasive as hell. And my head is always on the swivel. Superchats or not I think he will ultimately profit if we also profit. Try putting yourself in his position. Say even if the X & XX apes come away with something and more confidence to throw at Lou’s next play. That’s just a bigger force behind whatever comes next. Win-win for everyone? Maybe? Maybe not?

I did see he’s selling a book. And from my estimate it looks like it’ll be available after this whole thing will be blown over? It still sinks my heart when I see private discords with a $20-$50 entry free and a wall of superchat donations (that I see as shares).

I feel like you’re over analyzing him.

He seems legit to me, however…trust no one at this point. The CEO at this point is even shady.

HOLD till this is at least 100K in my opinion.
