I know we all like to watch certain youtubers for our info but be careful in how you post across all your socials. I’ve seen a few already on reddit and twitter that have called out certain ones by name mentioning that person X or person Y is leading a movement, rebellion, whatever you want to call it. Even in last night’s video from TMI, he said those very words when he introduced Trey (leading this movement).
The last thing any of us needs is to give the SEC, Congress, FINRA, or any other organization any reason to haul anyone in for possible market manipulation, collusion, giving financial advice without a license, or any other charge they can come up with. We are all simply buying stock in the companies we love, nothing more, nothing less.
When I see merch being sold, superchat money rolling in, and answers to superchat questions about buying/selling, advise on options trading, and other such things, it wouldn’t be hard for a lawyer to play in the legal gray area of saying these people are offering financial advise in exchange for a fee. And why wouldn’t he? Soon, all of us are going to be fucking rich! Along with that comes a huge target on our backs and those ambulance chasers won’t hesitate to take out someone’s fresh bank account.
Not trying to rain on anyone’s parade. Just offering some cautious advice. When all this fuckery blows up and the general population gets to see the corruption and manipulation that’s been happening for decades, the guilty fuckers will go looking for anyone they can find as an easy target and make them a scapegoat. They couldn’t get anything on DFV, which is great, but he also wasn’t selling merch, doing live chats with superchat money, etc. Be careful apes and don’t give the powers that be any ammo. Ape watch out for ape.
