FOMO buying like crazy at the open. Possibly a hard drop, but strong comeback. Thinking we test/break $50 real soon.

It seems AMC, our Ape guides and such all have a positive view on the buy in of Mudrick. I see them more as hedging against the hedgies that shorted.

What are you seeing that makes you stand against them?

Shady move on AA’s part. We had good momentum coming in from a 3 day weekend and started a healthy climb this morning. We should have easily rallied and flirted with $50 today. Once the price dropped, it was a slow trudge back to where we were and finished out with consolidation.

Did we end in the green? yes, that was good

Did we end up 22.66%? yes, that was also good

Did we all see more increase in our portfolios? yes, that was also good

Did this help or hurt momentum today? I would say hurt. the chart shows it

Was our volume up? Yes, almost half a billion. AGAIN another day of monster volume and we are only inching our way up and not rocketing. Very suspicious

        • AA doesn’t disclose until the day of the transaction that they sold 8.5 million shares at a price of $27.12 each (Mudrick is already starting the day off on a discount thanks to the gap up our German and Mexican apes gave us)
        • AA says it gives them $230.5 million of cash to use to grow AMC. Why? They are already sitting on the most money they have had in their entire 100 year history (the few billion they put together recently). On the shareholder call he said they could still operate till the end of 2022. How about instead of growing, they pay down their debts and stay lean for the time being until things are healthier?
        • Mudrick turns around after a nice little run-up and dumps the whole load and walks with some profit. To add insult to injury they said it was overvalued? WTF
        • Where did the 8.5 mil shares come from? I thought we finished out the 43 mil that was leftover from years ago.
        • Wanda dumped and we ate it up…. great. No problem there, but did it slow things down? Yes. Mudrick comes in out of nowhere and does the same thing. Did it again slow things down? Yes. Sure, we probably ate it up, but how many more times can we keep eating it up and delaying this?
        • Who’s to say he won’t cut someone else in with shares from who knows where only to let them paperhand on the same day after a nice little run….. and then tell us about it afterwards.
        • Mudrick jumps in on the bandwagon this late in the game, gets a sweetheart deal, paperhands it, and walks off into the sunset with a nice little profit while all the rest of us apes diamond hand for ~5 or 6 (or even more) months and throw every last hard earned dollar we earn into this?
        • Coming straight from Mudrick’s twitter page:
“An investment adviser specializing in distressed credit and deep value event driven investing. Retweeting is not endorsing or vouching.”
So who is “distressed credit” in this situation? Supposedly AMC was doing the best they’ve ever done finance-wise. “Deep value event driven investing” to me should be getting in and holding on for the ride alongside all of us and then selling during the MOASS event.
        • I’m sure because Trey is so star struck and hero worshiping AA he’s going to find a positive spin on it and not see the shadiness of it nor question him about it.
        • Matt is too busy doing interviews on Fox News, taking superchats, and gawking over his live stream audience numbers all for self-promotion and looking for his next moves, he will wash this over with a positive spin too.
        • The rest of the tubers I could care less about and will probably find some way to work the TA angle and not addressed what just happened.
        • AA will still push for the extra 500 mil in the upcoming vote. Why? When stuff like today happens, what difference does the 500 make? He doesn’t seem to need them right now and is finding ways to get around it anyway.

I really hope there is more to it and I am wrong and if someone has better insights, I would love to hear them. Something just doesn’t seem right and I hope there is more to it that we don’t know yet, but will soon uncover.

Had some time after work to look into this more and now I understand.

Yeah…shitty move on their part but looks like it basically backfired. We’re still up.

Taking advantage of the hot market today.

    I sold 5 of my 6/18 $14 options that I’ve been holding since early April…for almost $11k. 😎
Bought more actual shares AND seven of the $46 6/18 options. I think I’m going to sell off a few more later today if we keep climbing and look to keep averaging up my share/option count.
